John Daly loses his temper and his club at Whistling Straits

John Daly's hopes of making the cut at the PGA Championship effectively ended at the par-three seventh, which proved costly for the 1991 champion in more ways than one.
The two-time major winner ended up firing into the water from the tee and the drop zone a staggering three times, before 'laying up' with his sixth shot.
An untidy three-putt sent Daly into double figures for the hole, and you can see exactly what the 49-year-old thought of his display in the video above.
The 17th double-digit score on one hole of his career contributed to an 82 and meant Daly missed the cut for the 14th time in the US PGA since his shock victory in 1991.
"It shows you care, that's all," Daly told reporters as he walked to the car park. "I'm sure I'll get reprimanded for it.
"I know we all go through it. But I seem to go through it more than anybody. I know it wasn't the right thing to do, but it was more of a reflex than anything."
At least a young fan in a passing boat had a nice souvenir to take home!
