Tiger Woods narrowly missed out on adding his name to the Masters record books once again after going agonisingly close to a hole-in-one during the final round.
Jeff Sluman is the only player to have previously aced Augusta National's par-three fourth hole in the tournament's history, 26 years ago, although Woods threatened that statistic on Sunday.
Woods had seen a close-range birdie at the par-five second cancelled out by a loose approach and two-putt bogey at the next, only to bounce back at the hole named "Golden Bell".
The former world No 1 attacked the flag off the tee and was almost rewarded, only for his ball to shave the edge of the cup and race 10 feet past on his way to a birdie-two.
