David Howell and Nick Dougherty went head to head in an Augusta duel at the par-three 12th

Ahead of an expected final round tussle between Rory McIlroy and Patrick Reed for the coveted Green Jacket at the Masters, Nick Dougherty and David Howell had their own Augusta duel.

Dougherty was joined once again by Howell and Lee Westwood's caddie Billy Foster on Masters Breakfast to reflect on Saturday's thrilling third round and preview the final round tussle, but competition was also clear to see in the Shot Centre.

In the second in a series of five challenges the pair went head to head at the par-three 12th, which forms part of the legendary Amen Corner, with Howell taking on the role of 'villain' Reed and McIlroy played by presenter and former European Tour player Dougherty.

With Foster watching on and offering advice to both in his Augusta white jumpsuit, Howell went first with an eight iron before Dougherty took aim at the Sunday pin position - without the pressure of the patrons behind the tee box!
