A look at the fails from day three of the Masters at Augusta

Moving day at the Masters saw plenty of superb golf and cracking shots, but not everything went to plan for the 53 players who made it through to the weekend.

First round pacesetter Charley Hoffman sat top of the leaderboard until a stray tee shot at the 16th ended up in the hazard - one of several shots to find the water at Augusta.

Bernd Wiesberger and Jason Dufner both saw their efforts finish in the drink in similar fashion, with the pair finding the 15th green but seeing their balls roll down the slope to end up wet.

Veteran Fred Couples was another to send a shot for a swim during an eventful third round for the 57-year-old, where he also found the trees but just about stayed in contention for a Green Jacket.

There was also a putt to forget for Phil Mickelson during his slide down the leaderboard, while Lee Westwood looked on after seeing a close-range par-save skip past the hole.
