A number of near misses, some fantastic approach play and a special shot from the sand feature in the shots of the day from the second round at Augusta National.
Phil Mickelson endured a frustrating end to the day but he was in fabulous form early in his round after finding the bunker with he tee shot at the fourth, he produced a wonderful shot to within a foot of the hole and save par after back-to-back birdies at two and three.
Meanwhile, Sergio Garcia looked in fine fettle throughout his round as he earned a share of the second round lead, and his inch-perfect approach shot at the 17th set him up for a sixth birdie of the round.
Bernhard Langer missed the cut after shooting 78 on Friday but he almost signed off with an ace at the 16th, his ball spinning agonisingly close to the hole before holding up mere centimetres short.
