Rickie Fowler and Justin Thomas were two of nine players to card a hole-in-one at Augusta

Rickie Fowler and Justin Thomas fired pocket aces during a record-breaking day of holes-in-one at the Masters Par 3 tournament in 2016, when Gary Player was among the nine players to post a one on their scorecard.

The pair sank their tee shots one immediately after one another at the fourth, as 80-year-old Player picked up a hole-in-one of his own at the 115-yard seventh hole.

Around the same time Fowler and Thomas were matching each other's efforts, before David Lingmerth equalled 2015's record when he holed his tee shot at the seventh.

Player sent the Augusta patrons into delirium when he saw his tee shot at the seventh trickle in, the same hole where former Open Champion Zach Johnson made a slam-dunk of his own.
