Mark Roe believes Bubba Watson is a "massive contender" for Masters victory after claiming his second win of the season at the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play.
Watson slipped out of the world's top 100 following a winless 2017, where he failed to register a top-five finish in 23 worldwide starts and missed the cut in three of the four majors.
A two-shot win at the Genesis Open was followed by a top-10 finish at the WGC-Mexico Championship and a dominant victory at Austin Country Club, where he thrashed Kevin Kisner 7&6 in the final.
Victory in Texas is Watson's 11th PGA Tour success and lifts him back on the brink of the world's top 20, leaving him heading to the opening major of the year full of confidence.
"He's a million per cent a legitimate contender," Roe told Sky Sports. "You get the full package with him.
"He has every facet of the game he needs for the golf course. Everything about Bubba Watson fits the Masters."
The 39-year-old ended his deal with coloured golf ball company Volvik at the end of last season to return to using Titleist balls, with the change helping revitalise Watson's PGA Tour form.
Watson has previously celebrated victory at Augusta in both 2012 and 2014, with Roe fully expecting the American to challenge for a third Masters title.
