Bruce Critchley takes a look back at some his favourite moments from Sky Sports' golf coverage over the last 25 years

Esteemed commentator Bruce Critchley has reflected on the best moments from 25 years of golf coverage on Sky Sports.

The Colonel has been at the forefront of Sky's live broadcasts along with the likes of Ewen Murray and David Livingstone, and the groundbreaking coverage has produced a number of magical memories over the years.

It all started with our first live major championship - the 1994 US Open at Oakmont, which was played in severe heat and humidity and went into a fifth day as eventual champion Ernie Els battled with Colin Montgomerie and Loren Roberts in a play-off.

The 1995 Ryder Cup was the first to be shown live on Sky, and the contest was enthralling from the start as Europe clinched only their second victory on American soil amid emotional scenes at Oak Hill.

There have been 20 European major champions over the last 25 years, and Bruce highlights the recent dominance of the US Open which was triggered by Graeme McDowell's memorable win at Pebble Beach in 2010.
