Mark Ramprakash was delighted to prove that he can time a six-iron as well as a cover drive as he made an impressive appearance in the Shot Centre.
The former England batsman, now a pundit for Sky Sports, dropped into the golf studio moments after analysing England's dramatic defeat to South Africa in the fourth one-day international in Johannesburg.
After a few off-air practice swings and some useful tips from Mark Roe and Robert Lee, Ramprakash displayed commendable composure in front of the live cameras as he made crisp and clean connection with a series of iron shots.
He later took to Twitter and wrote: "Lived the dream going on @SkySportsGolf ! Great to chat with Robert & Mark, real gents, even hit a couple on the mat! #watchthebackoftheball
