Ashun Wu bolstered his hopes of a second Volvo China Open title after opening up a two-shot lead after the second round in Shenzhen.
The 2015 champion fired a joint-low round-of-the-day 65 at Genzon Golf Club to get two 13 under and pull clear of nearest challenger Tapio Pulkannen, with last week's Trophee Hassan II winner a further shot back in third.
Home favourite Haotong Li - the highest-ranked player in the field - slipped into tied-32nd after a one-over 73, while 14-year-old Yang Kuang became the second youngest player in European Tour history to make the cut.
"It was a great day again today," Wu said. "I made eight birdies and one bogey, I hit a lot of quality shots today and made a lot of birdies. I'm very happy."
Wu began the day a shot off the pace but moved top of the leaderboard by picking up shots at the 10th and the par-five 13th, where overnight joint-leader Campillo made his first birdie of the week.
The three-time European Tour winner added birdies at the 15th and 17th, where Campillo made the first of his back-to-back gains, before doubling his advantage with a chip-in birdie at the third.
Wu bounced back from finding a bush off the fifth tee and making a bogey by holing a 12-foot birdie at the seventh, with a close-range gain at the ninth extending his cushion at the top.

Afternoon starter Pulkannen closed the gap on Wu despite finishing his second-round 68 with a bogey at the par-five ninth, while Campillo followed his opening-round 65 with a three-under 69.
Benjamin Hebert sits in fourth spot on nine under, while former Ryder Cup star Victor Dubuisson heads into the weekend in the group tied-fifth and five off the pace after a second successive 68.
