Justin Rose will return to the Scottish Open for the first time in three years as the former champion aims for a repeat of his triumph in 2014.
The world No 5 won the tournament, which precedes The Open, with a flawless final-round six-under 65 at Royal Aberdeen four years ago.
This year's edition sees Scotland's national open, part of the European Tour's Rolex Series, move back to Gullane Golf Club, from July 12-15, and Rose is hoping to create further positive memories.
"The last time I played at Gullane in 2015 I followed up with a sixth place finish in The Open, so I'm looking forward to teeing it up there again, and to two good weeks of links golf."
"The Scottish Open win in 2014 was definitely a memorable one. It was the first time I had gone two in a row, after winning in America the previous week," Rose said.
"I really got to love the golf course and had a very special week.

Rose, a ten-time European Tour winner, was part of memorable final round duel with Sergio Garcia at last year's Masters and the US Open champion will be hopeful participation at the East Lothian venue can provide ideal preparation for quest at a second major title.
This year's 147th Open will be held at Carnoustie, with Jordan Spieth the defending champion, and the reigning Olympic champion is excited about playing in front of Scottish crowds over back-to-back weeks.
"The Scottish Open is a fantastic tournament and I'm glad to be back and vying to lift the trophy again.
"There's definitely something special about playing golf in Scotland - the crowds are so knowledgeable and appreciate good play which always makes for a good atmosphere."
