Report and highlights from the final round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

The four-time major champion fired eight birdies in a superb display at Bay Hill on his way to a bogey-free 64, seeing him finish three strokes clear of nearest challenger Bryson DeChambeau.

McIlroy began the final round two strokes back from 54-hole leader Henrik Stenson and struggled to make any early inroads, missing from eight feet at the third and missing birdie chances over his next two holes.

The Northern Irishman posted back-to-back gains from the sixth and reached the turn one off the lead after holing a 10-footer at the par-four ninth, before surging ahead on the back nine.

McIlroy rolled in a 15-footer from the fringe at the 13th and converted a 20-footer at the next, before pitching in for birdie from off the 15th green and making a two-putt gain at the par-four 16th.
