Report and highlights from Justin Rose's victory at the WGC-HSBC Champions.

The Olympic champion began the day eight strokes off the pace and was still six adrift at the turn, only to fire five birdies in a seven-hole stretch and claim a two-shot victory.

Rose posted back-to-back birdies from the second and cancelled out a blemish at the sixth with a gain at the next, only to seemingly slip out of contention with successive bogeys from the eighth.

The Masters runner-up appeared in further trouble after finding the bunker with his approach to the par-four 10th, but got up-and-down from the sand to salvage a par.

Caddie Mark "Fooch" Fulcher quickly praised the Englishman and offered words of encouragement as they walked towards the next tee, which Rose birdied to start his winning move up the leaderboard.
