Sky Sports' Nick Dougherty saw first hand the concepts being introduced to make golf a simpler and more visual sport for young players..
PGA instructor John Glenn and nine-year-old golfer Aaron Mansfield joined up with Dougherty in the Sky Zone at Close House to demonstrate a new visual tool being used to inspire the younger generation of golfers to pick up the game.
Glenn, who has caddied on the European Tour, explained the thinking behind the new exercise which helps to simplify the technique of the swing with visual aids as the talented junior demonstrated in practice the benefits of the drill.
Mansfield became a social media sensation earlier this year after the aspiring golfer was given a surprise birthday present by the European Tour.
He met up with major winners Justin Rose, Henrik Stenson and Martin Kaymer alongside Andrew "Beef" Johnston during a journey from home to Wentworth ahead of the BMW PGA Championship in May.
