Sergio Garcia and the European Tour stars put their Geordie accents to the test, with Gaz Beadle providing the answers!

Sergio Garcia and Alex Noren were among the European Tour stars to enrol in a special Geordie school at the British Masters.

The tournament is at Close House on the outskirts of Newcastle this week, with Lee Westwood hosting the event that features a strong field.

It's the first time in 45 years that the tournament has been held in the north east, giving the European Tour players a chance to visit a new part of the world.

Newcastle and its surrounding area are well known for the Geordie language and dialect, with the area offering a number of phrases that those from outside the region may struggle to decipher.

With Geordie Shore's Gary Beadle on hand to give the right answers, we put the players to the test to see how much Geordie slang they've picked up from their time on the Toon.
