Matt Fitzpatrick, Bernd Wiesberger and Danny Willett are the first players confirmed to be taking part in the Hero Challenge ahead of the British Masters supported by Sky Sports.
The trio will be joined by tournament host Lee Westwood for the one-hole knock-out contest at Close House, held under floodlights on a specially constructed par-three hole.
Four more players will be announced ahead of the event on Tuesday September 26, televised on Sky Sports, with four celebrities taking part in a separate challenge.
"I've watched the last two Hero Challenge events and the guys have all said how fun it is, so it will be great playing in front of the British fans," Fitzpatrick said.
The Hero Challenge debuted at last year's British Masters and returned in July at the Scottish Open, where Patrick Reed defeated Tyrrell Hatton, with another planned later this year at the DP World Tour Championship.
Those involved will feature in seven quick-fire head-to-head straight knockout matches, with the last man standing being crowned champion.
"The Hero Challenge is another exciting element to the British Masters this year and I'm looking forward to being part of it," Westwood said.
"We've got a great field for the tournament itself and with Danny, Matthew and Bernd also taking part in the Hero Challenge, we've got a fantastic line-up for that too, so I'm sure the fans will really enjoy it."
