Kevin Tway aced the 11th on day one, Grayson Murray signed for a one at the eighth on day two before Lucas Glover made it a hole-in-one hat-trick at 16 barely a minute later!

The second day of the Dell Technologies Championship featured two holes-in-one barely a minute apart as Grayson Murray and Lucas Glover took the tournament's tally of aces to three.

Kevin Tway found the hole with his perfect 195-yard five-iron to the 11th on the opening day at TPC Boston, and his group were celebrating another ace on day two when playing partner Murray followed birdies at six and seven with a hole-in-one at the eighth which lifted him into a share of the lead.

Murray's ace was exactly the same distance as Tway's, using one club less, and there were further loud cheers from the 16th moments later when Glover's well-struck eight-iron dropped into the hole 187 yards away.

According to the PGA Tour's ShotLink technology, the holes-in-one for Murray and Glover were just 65 seconds apart, and there was almost another less than an hour later when Hideki Matsuyama's tee shot to the eighth hit the pin but stayed out.

Murray went on to sign for a 68 which left him in good shape of the final two rounds on six under, while former US Open champion Glover is four shots further behind after a 69 which featured his fifth ace in professional competition.

"I was between seven and eight-iron and benefitted from hitting third," said Glover, who was playing alongside Phil Mickelson and Ian Poulter. "Phil and I hit our irons about the same. He hit a smooth seven and it looked like it landed hole-high and bounced, almost through.

"Then Poults hit a small seven, I hit my irons just a hair further than him, so it was just a firm eight-iron. When I hit, usually when I'm swinging okay and hit aggressive shots, they draw, which nice set up for that hole location. I thought it might be pretty good when it was in the air, and it's always nice to see a good shot go in."
