Rory McIlroy and Sergio Garcia made a special introduction to PGA Championship week with a driving contest of a different kind at Quail Hollow.
The Ryder Cup team-mates appeared at a promotion event for Omega ahead of the final major of the year in North Carolina, where they arrived in unusual attire for the golf course.
With Omega celebrating the 60th anniversary of the launch of their Speedmaster timepieces, which accompanied astronauts in NASA's Apollo missions, McIlroy and Garcia came to the tee sporting their own spaceman look.
After arriving in a 'moon buggy' and hitting a few shots of their sand in their full astronaut attire, the pair removed their helmets to reveal their identities before taking part in a longest-drive contest.
McIlroy looked like he was struggling with the restrictions of the space suit as he switched to a baseball grip, which resulted in him ripping huge drives up the fairway.
One small step towards a fifth major title this week? We'll let you judge for yourself…
