Andrew Johnston visited the Open Zone during The 145th Open at Royal Troon

Ahead of The Open at Royal Birkdale, we kick off our countdown of the top 10 moments from last year's Open Zone - as Andrew "Beef" Johnston discussed his beard and a host of other topics.

The hugely popular English player was asked when he'd get rid of his trademark facial hair, and said: "Not for a while!

"A few people have said it's bad for golf, and I was like: 'you don't even know me! Don't judge until you come and meet me'. The more people say it the longer I'm going to keep it."

Beef is renowned as one of the happiest players on the course when he plays, and said he thinks it's important to remain positive even if things aren't going your way.

"I love it, it's what you dream of as a kid," he said. "Of course I'm going to be happy, even if it's not going the way I want it to, you've got to enjoy it."
