Following Brooks Koepka's victory in the 117th US Open at Erin Hills, we take a look at some of the standout numbers...
ONE
The number of birdies in Dustin Johnson's first round as defending champion. Johnson would go on to miss the cut at four over par.
TWO
Hideki Matsuyama will climb to No 2 in the world rankings after finishing tied for second.
THREE
For the first time in a major since the rankings were introduced in 1986, the pre-tournament top three - Johnson, Rory McIlroy and Jason Day - all missed the cut.
FOUR
Tommy Fleetwood was the highest finishing Englishman at Erin Hills in fourth, while Matsuyama (tied-second) of Japan was the only other non-American in the top 10.
FIVE
Fairways hit by McIlroy in the first round, tied for worst in the field with amateur Walker Lee.
SIX
Successive birdies by Adam Hadwin on Thursday, from holes 18 to five having started on the back nine, to match the US Open record.
SEVEN
The last seven major champions are first-time winners of major championships. (Day, Danny Willett, Johnson, Henrik Stenson, Jimmy Walker, Sergio Garcia, Koepka).
EIGHT
Shots covered the field after the halfway cut.
NINE
Years since there was a play-off at the US Open (when Tiger Woods beat Rocco Mediate at Torrey Pines in 2008). The longest stretch was previously eight years (1976-83).
TEN
Koepka only failed to make the green in regulation on 10 holes across his four rounds.
ELEVEN
Eagles made by the field during round one on Thursday.
TWELVE
Only three players had ever reached 12 under at any point of a US Open before 2017. The top three finished at least 12 under at Erin Hills.
SIXTEEN
Champion Koepka finished 16 under for the tournament, a joint-US Open record held alongside McIlroy.
THIRTY
Rickie Fowler was making his 30th major appearance. In that time he's finished in the top 10 seven times but never won.
SIXTY-THREE
Justin Thomas became the first man to shoot a nine-under-par round at a US Open on Saturday, with his 63 also equalling the lowest 18-hole score in any major.
ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY-TWO
There were 1,363 birdies over the week at Erin Hills, 122 more than the previous US Open record of 1,241 (Pinehurst 2015 and Oakmont 1994).
