Sandy Lyle visited the Sky Zone at Sawgrass to reflect on his dramatic Players Championship win 30 years ago

The 2017 Players Championship marks the 30 year anniversary since Sandy Lyle became the first international golfer to win at TPC Sawgrass.

And in dramatic fashion too, with Lyle defeating American Jeff Sluman on the third hole of a sudden-death play-off, in the dark.

Click on the video above as Lyle rolls back the years to reflect on that iconic triumph, recalling that he could hardly see the hole with his tournament-clinching putt on the 18th due to the fading light.

Lyle also looks at a couple of the more crucial shots from the weekend, including sinking a chip from the edge of the green, and a monster putt on 18, waved in by his caddie.
