It's nearly time for the opening major of the year at Augusta, with coverage from the Masters live on Sky Sports

This week marks the 20th anniversary of Tiger Woods’ maiden Masters victory, but how much do you remember from the world of sport in 1997?

Woods claimed his first of 14 major titles in record-breaking fashion at Augusta, finishing 12 strokes clear of nearest challenger Tom Kite to claim the at-the-time biggest major victory.

That win made Woods the youngest Masters champion of all time and broke Augusta's 72-hole record, in a year which would see him reach the top of the world rankings for the first time.

Away from the golf course, 1997 saw Aqua's "Barbie Girl" top the UK's music charts, Tony Blair move in at Downing Street and the first of the Harry Potter books published.

What happened in the sporting schedule over those 12 months? Take a trip down memory lane and put your knowledge to the test!
