Zach Johnson watched his ball take a big deflection on the green and drop in to the hole for an unlikely chip-in birdie at the Arnold Palmer Invitiational.
The former Open champion hasn't had much to smile about at Bay Hill this week, but received one of the biggest cheers of the day with a huge slice of fortune late in his final round.
Johnson was five-over-par for the day when he reached the par-three 17th, having mixed two double-bogeys and three bogeys with two birdies during an erratic display.
The American then sent his tee shot at the 215-yard hole in to the bunker left of the green, before pitching out of the sand and attempting to get close to the flag.
Johnson's ball gathered pace as it raced down the slope as it moved closer to the pin and appeared to be heading several feet past, only to deflect off playing partner Byeong Hun An's ball and drop in for a bizarre birdie!
The birdie drew comparisons with a similar incident from the final round of last year's Masters, where Louis Oosthuizen fired a hole-in-one after seeing his ball ricochet off JB Holmes' tee shot and end up in the cup.
