Rory McIlroy has continued his recovery from a rib injury - by playing a round of golf with US president Donald Trump!
McIlroy and Trump were part of a four-ball who played at the Trump International Golf Club in Florida.
McIlroy told the website 'No Laying Up' that the fourball was completed by Nick Mullen from International Sports Management and Rich Levine, a friend of the President.
World No 3 McIlroy has not played competitively since suffering a stress fracture to one of his ribs during the South African Open, a tournament he lost to Graeme Storm in a play-off.
And McIlroy confirmed that he remains on course to return to tournament golf in the WGC-Mexico Championship next week.
Asked about Trump's performance, McIlroy said: "He probably shot around 80.
"He's a decent player for a guy in his 70s."
A picture posted on Twitter by Clear Sports on Sunday showed its chief executive Garry Singer alongside former New York Yankee Paul O'Neill, McIlroy and President Trump at Trump International, although Singer and O'Neill did not join Trump and McIlroy on the course.
