Tiger Woods is back! After an absence of 466 days, the 14-time major champion made his long-awaited return to competitive golf at the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas.

The anticipation and interest was at an unprecedented level as Woods stepped onto the first tee at Albany Golf Club alongside Ryder Cup star Patrick Reed.

Woods, whose last appearance was at the Wyndham Championship in August last year, has been out of action since undergoing major back surgery a month after the Wyndham, and he has freely admitted he feared his career was over during his long and arduous rehabilitation.
