Matt Fitzpatrick came through a final round tussle with Tyrrell Hatton to claim the biggest win of his career at the DP World Tour Championship.
The Ryder Cup star birdied the last to close a five-under 67 at Jumeirah Golf Estates and finish one clear of Hatton, who led along the closing stretch until a final-hole bogey.
Henrik Stenson matched Rory McIlroy's seven-under 65 to finish inside the top-10 and secure the Race to Dubai title, as Danny Willett ended the week in tied-50th.
Beginning the day a shot behind Victor Dubuisson, Fitzpatrick edged ahead after following back-to-back gains from the second with a birdie at the sixth.
Hatton posted successive birdies from the fifth and moved top of the leaderboard when he picked up a shot at the 10th, as Fitzpatrick bogeyed the same hole in the group behind.
The pair briefly shared the advantage when Fitzpatrick nudged in from close range at the 11th, only for Hatton to regain the lead with gains at the 12th and 14th.
Bernd Wiesberger saw his challenge ended with a four-putt double-bogey at the 16th, the same hole Dubuisson bogeyed to slip four adrift.
Hatton holed out from the bunker to save par at the 17th but found the water off the 18th tee on his way to a final-hole bogey, as Fitzpatrick sent his approach at the last in to a bunker.
But Fitzpatrick then managed to get up-and-down from the sand, rolling in from five feet to secure a third European Tour title and a second win of the season.
Three birdies in the final five holes saw Charl Schwartzel close a five-under 67 to end the week in third spot, with Wiesberger and Soren Kjeldsen part of the group a further shot back.
McIlroy posted a front-nine 30 on his way to a joint-lowest round of the day, as Stenson fired five birdies in a six-hole stretch on his way to a matching 65.
First-round leader Lee Westwood finished six strokes off the pace, with Shane Lowry, Sergio Garcia and Martin Kaymer in the group on nine under.
