Alex Noren survived a testing final round to claim a two-shot victory at the British Masters, where he needed a moment of composure at The Grove's final hole.
The Swede had taken a three-shot lead in to a weather-affected Sunday and saw that advantage increase to four during the early party of the day, only for Bernd Wiesberger to close the gap along the back nine.
Wiesberger, playing in the group ahead, carded a four-under 67 to set the clubhouse target and leave Noren heading to at least par the long par-five to claim a third victory in just eight starts.
After hitting a perfect tee shot in to the middle of the fairway, Noren elected to lay up rather than attack the green in two and in the process left himself 60 yards short of the pin.
With Noren under the pressure of knowing that any error would open the door for Wiesberger, the Swede produced the perfect pitch to leave a kick-in birdie and the British Masters title.
