British Masters: Watch the Hero Challenge for free on Sky Sports

Some of the stars of the European Tour will go head-to-head under floodlights in a one-hole knockout contest.

The inaugural Hero Challenge takes place at The Grove on Tuesday evening ahead of the British Masters, with extended coverage live on Sky Sports.

The floodlit event is a new one-hole knockout contest taking place over a specially-constructed par-three at The Grove, with eight European Tour players going head-to-head and several celebrities also taking part.

The latest build-up ahead of the 2016 British Masters

The tournament's debut will be shown live from 7.30pm on Tuesday on Sky Sports 4 and Sky Sports Mix, with the coverage also being streamed worldwide for free on skysports.com and the Sky Sports Facebook page.

In the event proper, British Masters host Luke Donald is joined by Ryder Cup star Andy Sullivan and fan-favourite Andrew "Beef" Johnston in the eight-player contest, while US Open runner-up Shane Lowry also features.

Cricketers Kevin Pietersen and Shane Warne star in the celebrity challenge, which will follow the same format as the main event, with TV personality Piers Morgan and singer Brian McFadden completing that line-up.

Tickets for the 2016 British Masters supported by Sky Sports are now on general sale, with fans able to buy tickets for the final three rounds of the European Tour tournament at The Grove via www.sky.com/tickets.
