We look at some of the figures behind this year's Ryder Cup, where the US secured their first victory in four attempts at Hazeltine
ONE
The number of Ryder Cup victories Davis Love III now has as captain of the United States team. It was his second time in charge of the side, and is also only the second time the USA have won the Ryder Cup this century.
TWO
The number of players undefeated this week. Brandt Snedeker won all three of his matches, while European rookie Rafa Cabrera Bello claimed two-and-a-half points from his three fixtures.
THREE
The highest number of matches won by a single pairing, which came in the form of the big-hitting European duo of Rory McIlroy and Thomas Pieters.
They won their opening fourball match 3&2 against Dustin Johnson and Matt Kuchar, before coming out on top of both contests on Saturday.
FOUR
With four wins out of his five matches, Thomas Pieters has become the most successful European rookie of all-time, and the highest scoring rookie on either side since Larry Nelson in 1979. The Belgian was also the highest scoring individual player of the week.
FIVE
The number of days the final USA wildcard pick Ryan Moore had to prepare before playing in his first Ryder Cup match. He ended up claiming the all-important point in the Sunday singles - defeating Lee Westwood at the last - to secure victory for the visitors.
SIX
The number of rookies on the European team, equalling the highest number since they took seven rookies to the Battle of Brookline in 1999. In total, they helped to win 7.5 of Europe's 11 points.
SEVEN
The total eagles over the week, two of which came in the Saturday fourballs match between Patrick Reed/Jordan Spieth and Henrik Stenson/Justin Rose. Reed holed his approach shot to the sixth, while Stenson chipped in from the fringe of the 16th green to keep the match alive.
THIRTEEN
The difference in the number of holes won by the USA compared to the European team over the 28 matches played. The United States won a 117 holes, while Europe won 104.
THIRTY SEVEN
The number of years since either team has won by a margin of 17 - 11 points. Played at the Greenbrier White Sulfer Springs in West Virgina in 1979, the United States completed their victory by winning five of the first singles matches on the final day.
TWO HUNDRED AND EIGHTY TWO
The number of birdies made across the week over the three days at Hazeltine. Sergio Garcia and Phil Mickelson set the staggering pace in the singles matches, racking up 19 birdies between them - six more than any other pairing on Sunday.
