Europe's nine automatic Ryder Cup qualifiers have been confirmed with a week to spare, but there are still places up for grabs in the USA line-up with one qualifying event to go.
The qualification period for Davis Love III's team began at last year's WGC-Cadillac Championship and runs through to Bethpage this week, with the top eight in the points list after The Barclays guaranteed to feature at Hazeltine.
US Open champion Dustin Johnson tops the standings and has been assured of a third Ryder Cup appearance for several months, with two-time major champion Jordan Spieth his closest challenger.
A runner-up finish at Royal Troon booked Phil Mickelson an 11th consecutive appearance in the USA team, while Jimmy Walker and Brooks Koepka will also be involved next month.
Farmers Insurance Open champion Brandt Snedeker is the big mover, with a tied-third finish at the Wyndham Championship seeing climb three spots in the standings from ninth to sixth.
As a result of Snedeker's second top-five in three starts, J.B Holmes has fallen outside of the qualification places, as Zach Johnson and Patrick Reed drop one place to seventh and eighth respectively.
Bubba Watson, Matt Kuchar and Rickie Fowler are the next three closest challengers, while Jim Furyk is up to 15th spot after a second top ten in as many starts last week.
Three of the captain's picks will be announced after the conclusion of the BMW Championship on September 11, with the final place being confirmed once the Tour Championship finishes on September 25.
