Justin Rose must wait to see if he has made the cut at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans after reaching the midway point of the competition on level par.

The world No 10's fate is in the balance after the second round was suspended on Friday due to bad light, with the projected cut currently standing at two under par.

Rose, who had to finish his first round after inclement weather on Thursday, was straight back out on the course and carded a second successive 72 - hurt by back-to-back bogeys on the back nine - to leave him on the brink of an exit.

Jamie Lovemark and Jhonattan Vegas are the clubhouse leaders on 11-under, with Lovemark posting a superb six-under-par 66.

Lovemark fired seven birdies and only one bogey as he surged up the leaderboard after earlier completing the final nine holes of his first round.

Vegas overcame a double-bogey seven on the 11th to card a 69 and join Lovemark at the summit.

First-round leader Brian Stuard is well placed on 10-under and is yet to complete his second round while Harold Varner III is on eight-under.
