Scott Stallings lit up the Valero Texas Open as he slammed in a superb hole-in-one early in his second round at TPC San Antonio.
Stallings was two-over for the tournament and needing to make something happen to avoid a weekend off, and he produced the perfect shot at his fourth hole of the day - the 200-yard 13th.
The American flushed an eight-iron bang on line for the pin and his ball took one hop before hitting the bottom of the cup on the second bounce for an incredible ace.
Stallings, whose caddie is the eldest son of nine-time PGA Tour winner Jay Haas, went on to return a two-under 70 which was enough to get him to even par and make the halfway cut right on the number.
