Golf's newest major champion Danny Willett has been rewarded with his victory at Augusta National by moving into the world's top 10 for the first time in his career.
The 28-year-old from Sheffield is up to ninth in the Official World Golf Ranking and looks well placed to make his Ryder Cup debut in Minnesota later this year.
The Yorkshireman currently heads both of Europe's qualifying tables for the three-day match in early autumn.
Willett, who won in Dubai earlier this year, is also almost certain to play at the Olympic Games in Brazil this August.
Lee Westwood, who collected his ninth top-three finish in a major championship by finishing as joint runner-up in the Masters, returns to the top 50 of the rankings.
The 42-year-old moved 32 spots up the table to 35th in the list, which is still topped by Jason Day who tied for 10th in Georgia.
Westwood has also leapt up Europe's Ryder Cup qualifying lists and is currently 10th in the World Points standings, one place behind Belgian Thomas Pieters who holds the final automatic slot.
And another Sheffield golfer, Matthew Fitzpatrick, who tied for seventh on Sunday, is inside the top 40 for the first time, while also strengthening his grip on a possible Ryder Cup debut this year.
