Emiliano Grillo is hoping to continue a dream run of form in this week's Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.

The Argentinian kicked off the 2015/16 PGA Tour season with victory in the Frys.com Open in California and moved to a career-high 36 in the world rankings.

Grillo was winning for the second time in October, having also come out on top in the Web.com Tour Championship, where his pay day was enough to claim second place in the Finals series and win a PGA Tour card.

He had missed a golden chance to win earlier in the year at the Puerto Rico Open, where a missed putt from inside four feet at the 72nd hole meant a play-off that he was unable to win.

"Winning out here, it's been a dream my whole life," Grillo said. "I feel a huge relief. I can say I'm a winner now. I won on the Web.com Tour, I won on the Latin America Tour, but it didn't feel right.

"I knew what I was capable of, I just didn't get there before Sunday. But yeah, there's a lot of confidence there. I really can't wait for Thursday to tee off. The weather is unbelievable out here and it's a great week. It's Vegas.

"I have my wife, my father-in-law and pretty much my whole team right here, so we're going to enjoy a good week. I did put some champagne in the trophy [on Sunday], but it wasn't that much."

"It's going to be fun," he added. "I think I'm going to pay more attention to what they do and try to learn from them."

World No 5 Rickie Fowler is the top ranked player in the field and has been paired with Ryder Cup captain Davis Love and Jimmy Walker for the first two rounds. Fowler and Walker halved three and won one of their four matches together in last year's Ryder Cup at Gleneagles.
