Home favourite Celine Herbin birdied four of her final six holes to grab a share of the lead heading into the final round of the Ladies French Open.

Herbin followed gains at the 13th and 15th with back-to-back birdies at the final two holes to close a bogey-free 65 and move level with Danish rookie Emily Kirstine Pedersen at the top of the leaderboard.

"I'm really looking forward to playing tomorrow," Herbin said. "I will have 1000 people around me cheering for me so it's going to give me a plus, maybe the 15th club in my bag.

"It's different when you have so many people cheering but you just focus on your own game, your ball and where to send your ball."

Munoz, looking to bounce back from Europe's Solheim Cup defeat, recovered from an opening-hole blemish to post a four-under 66, while Pretswell was on course for a bogey-free round until a dropped shot at the last.

"I'm obviously further away than I would like to be but I'll take it," Munoz said. "Mid-round I was six or seven back, so tomorrow anything is possible. You can have a really low one here, so hopefully it will be me tomorrow.

"You can make a big number out here or you can make a lot of birdies, it can go both ways. I told myself to be patient, there were plenty of holes left and keep doing what I've been doing."

First-round leader Gwladys Nocera is five shots off the lead in fifth place alongside Malene Jorgensen, with fellow Solheim Cup player Charley Hull part of the large group a further stroke back.
