Ben Martin picked an ideal time to record the first hole-in-one of the WGC-Cadillac Match Play Championship as he pulled off a surprise victory over Matt Kuchar.
The Group 14 rivals were all square when they arrived on the tee at the tough 230-yard par-three 17th, but the match suddenly turned in Martin's favour after one good swish of a hybrid.
The world No 61 made a perfect connection, and his ball pitched softly on the front of the green before rolling straight into the centre of the cup.
Martin went on to close out an excellent win over the 14th seed at the final hole, and described his ace at the penultimate hole as "the best shot I've hot in my career".
