Ten-man Wycombe's automatic promotion hopes took a blow as they were held to a 0-0 draw at AFC Wimbledon.
The best chance of the first half came in the 17th minute when a cross from Sean Rigg on the left wing found Adebayo Akinfenwa, but his header six yards from goal came back off a post. The Dons striker went close again shortly afterwards with another headed effort which sailed wide. Just before the break Akinfenwa played the ball over the top to Adebayo Azeez but Matt Ingram rushed off his line to clear. However, the ball only went as far as Craig Tanner whose attempt to dribble round the goalkeeper was smothered by Ingram. Steven Craig went close for the visitors midway through the second half when his right-foot volley from the edge of the box went just over the crossbar. Three minutes from time Jake Goodman headed over from a Wimbledon free-kick, awarded after Aaron Pierre was shown a second yellow card for a foul on David Fitzpatrick.
