Harry Redknapp insists QPRdefender Rio Ferdinand has the potential to be perfect management material, should he decide to hang up his boots up at the end of the season.
The former Manchester United star has struggled to break into Rangers' starting line-up following his summer move from Old Trafford and was benched for two games before he started a three-game ban.
But Redknapp is backing the 36-year-old former England International to use all his experience in the management game and expects the centre-back to be a success on the touchline one day.
"He's a good lad and I think he's management material one day," Redknapp told the Daily Star.
"I like him a lot, he talks to the younger players.
