Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon is optimistic the team can build on their 1-1 Champions League draw against Borussia Monchengladbach.
The Hoops face Barcelona at Celtic Park in their next Group C match on November 23, which is a must-win if they are to remain in Europe beyond the turn of the year.
Barcelona, who lost 3-1 to Manchester City on Wednesday, top the group with nine points and will prove formidable opponents for Celtic.
Gordon insists Celtic can only give it their best shot against the Catalans, but reckons they have a chance of causing an upset if they do.
"We will concentrate on trying to get the performance up to those levels and if we continue to improve at this level, we still have a chance," the 33-year-old said.
"It is possible. Manchester City won their home tie so we have a chance.
"We have performed at the top of our abilities a couple of times and came away with two draws.
"If we can do that again, we will give ourselves a chance to come away with all three points."
Celtic beat Barcelona in the competition in November 2012 and they have made their home ground one of the toughest in Europe for visiting teams over the years.
By contrast, Celtic's away results in the Champions League have been poor, with just one win and two draws from 26 games after Wednesday's trip to Borussia-Park.
Gordon said: "The record is not great, we can't hide from that but if we put in performances like that away from home, we will give ourselves chances to get results."
