Neil Lennon praised Celtic's "magnificent win" over Hearts at Tynecastle Park to kick-start his second spell in charge of the Scottish champions.
Odsonne Edouard came off the bench and scored a last-gasp winner for Celtic in their 2-1 victory over 10-man Hearts to retain their eight-point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
The Hearts game was Lennon's first in charge since he took over as interim manager on Tuesday, and the former Hibernian boss was delighted to leave Edinburgh with a victory.
"I couldn't have written the script any better," he told Sky Sports.
"I thought we scored a great first goal. We were a bit fortunate because I thought we sometimes overplayed a little bit too much, and in the second half we were a bit too passive with our passing.
"When we put a decent ball in the box eventually we get a goal. We had to keep working away and we shot ourselves in the foot with the goal we conceded. It was sloppy.
"However, it was magnificent win. It's such a hard place to come and I've got to give Hearts credit because they made the game very difficult for us."
Lennon was pleased with the way his players kept going until the last minute to secure all three points.
He added: "It's difficult but at times our decision making wasn't great. Our execution at times wasn't great.
"I couldn't have asked any more from the players. The subs were great when they came on. It's the sign of a good side who can keep going and not get disheartened.
"It turned out to be a great night for me personally, but it's not about me, it was a great night for them."
