Bury have confirmed that goalkeeper Shwan Jalal has left the JD Stadium by mutual consent.
The 31-year-old made eight appearances for the Shakers, the last of which came on December 20 during the 2-2 draw against York. Jalal, who began his career with Tottenham before joining Woking, arrived at the JD Stadium in the summer after being released by Bournemouth. Bury boss David Flitcroft is not expected to bring in a new goalkeeper to replace Jalal. He told the club's official website: "We're quite happy that we have Nick Pope in the building and that will take us up until the end of the season. What happens beyond that we will have to wait and see."
