Matt Lund scored the goal that kept Rochdale on course for automatic promotion with a 2-1 win at Bristol Rovers.
Lund was left with a simple tap in the 63rd minute after a low cross from Michael Rose had been allowed to reach the far post. It completed a second-half turnaround as Rochdale had equalised a matter of seconds after the interval, substitute Joe Bunney clinically shooting home from a George Donnelly pass. Kaid Mohammed had put Rovers in front in the 17th minute, running onto a through pass from John-Joe O'Toole to slip a low shot past the advancing Josh Lillis. The ball rolled against the inside of a post and then along the goal-line, an eagle-eyed linesman ruling that it had entered the net before being cleared. Rochdale could have been two up inside five minutes as Steve Mildenhall made a reaction save to keep out a Lund glancing header and then spread himself to block a Peter Vincenti volley. Lillis save well from Matt Harrold before the visitors twice went close again, Ian Henderson striking a post from 25 yards and Bunney, who had replaced the injured Vincenti, shooting badly wide of an open goal.
