Leicester's heralded head of recruitment Steve Walsh and assistant manager Craig Shakespeare are close to signing new contracts, the vice-chairman has confirmed.
Sky sources reported back in March that the duo had agreed terms on new contracts that would keep them at the King Power Stadium until 2018.
Shakespeare, credited with the signings of Riyad Mahrez and N'Golo Kante among others, says "we've not signed but it's all agreed".
Vice-chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha said: "I think small things [are needed] but both have agreed. They did a brilliant job here and we are happy to do that."
The Foxes face a summer in which they must once again improve their squad ready for the Champions League and playing more games in general across the season.
And Walsh has warned it is becoming increasingly difficult to find those hidden gems. He said: "There's so much information out there, there's so much DVD evidence.
"It's not just upon me, because I've got people working for me, bringing information and we've got to act on it. Obviously then decisions have got to be made with the manager, who can decide.
"It's about knowledge. You can't know every player in the world - that's impossible. But you target certain leagues, which we do, and you try and find the better players within that league, and then try and find out about them as much as they can.
"Once the season starts, you've got until January to make a decision, so you don't need to make a snap decision. If you really believe in a player, get all the DVD evidence clipped up, but then get out and see them."
