Tony Pulis angered by penalty calls in West Brom's defeat to Swansea
Saturday 26 December 2015 19:02, UK
Tony Pulis said West Brom were denied two "stonewall" penalties in the 1-0 defeat to Swansea at the Liberty.
Ki Sung-Yeung scored the only goal of the game in the ninth minute after Boaz Myhill failed to hold a shot that rebounded off the post.
But Pulis was aggrieved that his side did not win at least one penalty after Chris Brunt and Callum McManaman went down in the box.
"Things are not breaking for us at the moment," Pulis told Sky Sports. "Last week we had the penalty against Bournemouth which was outside the box, then two stonewall penalties this week, as well as two against Leicester that were not given.
"The lad goes right through Chris, he goes for the ball but Brunty has just touched it and he's caught him, it's a stone banker penalty for me."

The defeat means the Baggies are now without a win in five matches and are in danger of being sucked into a relegation battle.
It is their longest winless run since Pulis took over nearly a year ago, but the Baggies boss did take some positives from a scrappy contest.
"The lads put a great effort in," Pulis said. "We shouldn't lose the game, the amount of times we were in the final third and the quality wasn't as good as it should be. You can't fault the effort, it was fantastic.
"We have to keep going, the spirit was great. I thought the lads kept going and we have to hope for a bit of luck.
"We need a bit of help, we are certainly not getting any in certain areas which is disappointing."
