Disgruntled Everton supporters arranged for a plane to fly past St Mary’s stadium with a banner calling for chairman Bill Kenwright to resign as their side took on Southampton.
The Everton Board OUT fan group joined The Blue Union and independent Everton supporters website School of Science to display their dissatisfaction with the current regime with a “Kenwright and Co - #TimeToGo NSNO" banner.
The move comes as the fan groups protest against what they believe to be a lack of director investment, an unsatisfactory business model and dearth of transfer funds to invest in the playing squad.
Everton's last trophy win was the FA Cup in 1995.
In March last year Manchester United fans arranged for a similar banner to call for then-manager David Moyes to leave the club.
