Liverpool face an anxious wait over the availability of skipper Jordan Henderson after the England international limped out of Friday’s draw with Arsenal.
The midfielder required extensive treatment after pulling up when tracking back to try and thwart an Arsenal attack led by Mesut Ozil.
Henderson clutched his hamstring as hit the turf just prior to the 10-minute mark and was taken off a few minutes later after being attended to by Liverpool's medical team.
With the score 0-0 at the time, Henderson was replaced by James Milner who captained the Reds for the remainder of the game.
Liverpool remain fourth in the table after Roberto Firmino's 71st-minute strike sealed a 3-3 draw in a thriller against Arsenal at The Emirates.
The Reds are at home to Swansea on Boxing Day and host Leicester four days later before travelling to Burnley on New Year's Day.
