Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes the current Manchester United squad could perform and excite for many years to come.
Two goals from Paul Pogba and one from Anthony Martial gave United a 3-0 win over Fulham on Saturday, meaning Solskjaer is 11 unbeaten as interim manager.
It also put United into the top four, for 24 hours at least before Chelsea go to Manchester City on Super Sunday, and the Norwegian insists the current crop of players could continue for the next five or more years, given their age.
He told Sky Sports: "I've always looked further ahead. I've followed United since I signed for them as a player. Of course I look at the squad, players, who can produce and perform now, next year and in two years?
"Even here you've got players who can perform for five, six, seven, eight, nine years because it's such a young squad, an exciting squad.
"At the moment I'm just concentrating on getting us up the table, we're fourth, let's hope we can stay there and go higher."
Man-of-the-match Pogba has enjoyed a noticeable improvement in form since Solskjaer arrived, but the manager says he has not "released" the Frenchman from any shackles.
"I've not released those [qualities], he is playing to his potential, we are trying to put this team forward to put players in positions to where we can hurt teams.
"We know Paul can do that with his physicality, energy, strength into the box, is going to cause problems. I speak to him like I do with the others, it's about getting the best out of players, that's management.
"He's responding to the way we do things now, onto the next one."
United made six changes from the side that beat Leicester, with PSG to come on Tuesday in the Champions League last 16, but Solskjaer has full trust in his entire squad.
"There is always an element of risk [with team changes] but if you don't risk you don't win," he said. "It's a squad game. I have to trust the players, I didn't feel there was a problem playing any of them."
