Alexis Sanchez is the only Arsenal player that would get into Tottenham's best XI, says Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson.
The Chile international has scored 15 Premier League goals this season but Arsenal find themselves 12 points behind league leaders Chelsea.
The Gunners, who are fourth in the table, are also three points behind Spurs and Merson admits the 28-year-old is vital to Arsene Wenger's side.
"I don't know where they would be [without Alexis Sanchez]," the former Arsenal player told Sky Sports.
"He's their one player. I was talking to someone the other day and I said that if you put Tottenham's best 11 that they can get on the football pitch and put Arsenal best 11 next to it, Sanchez is the only player that gets in [to Spurs' team].
"If you go through the team, I just don't see who else gets in - that can't be right."
Sanchez's form has seen him installed as the sixth in the betting with Sky Bet to win this year's PFA Player of the Year behind Eden Hazard, N'Golo Kante, Diego Costa, Dele Alli and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
However, Merson is siding with the "phenomenal" Kante, who helped Leicester to the title last season, to win individual honours for his performances for Chelsea in this campaign.
"I'm going to go for Kante, he said. "I know I could pick Eden Hazard or Diego Costa, they've been outstanding, but I don't know whether it's been done before winning the Premier League with one club before leaving and going somewhere else and winning it the following year.
"He's made such a difference for Chelsea. Leicester have missed him like they can't catch a breath and he's gone to Chelsea and just been outstanding.
"He's sat in front of the back four, covering every blade of grass and he's getting better and better every day.
"I have to say him, especially for player of the year because over the course of the season he's been phenomenal."
