Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew disputed the last-minute penalty and felt it was very harsh on his team

Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew could not hide his frustration after the decision to award Liverpool a last-minute penalty at Selhurst Park.

The Super Sunday contest was heading for a draw until in stoppage time Liverpool striker Christian Benteke went down in the box under a challenge from Palace defender Damien Delaney.

However, despite not initially awarding a penalty, referee Andre Marriner did point to the spot on the advice of his assistant, with Benteke making no mistake from 12 yards to hand the visitors a 2-1 win.

Pardew, though, did not agree with the officials' call, claiming the Belgian made the most of Delaney's tackle, with the Eagles' manager making his displeasure clear for all to see in his post-match interview with Sky Sports reporter Geoff Shreeves…
