After an eventful Transfer Deadline Day, we pick out seven lesser known players who could change the fortunes of their new Premier League clubs this season.
Deadline Day was filled with transfers predominantly done by clubs ranging from the middle to the bottom end of the Premier League table in order to to bolster their squads for the tough three months ahead and beyond.
We've picked out some of the names that you may not have heard of or know much about, including Southampton's record signing Manolo Gabbiadini.
The most expensive signing on Deadline Day and the second highest incoming transfer into the Premier League in January, Gabbiadini has joined Southampton for a total transfer fee of £17.1m with lofty expectations placed on this head.
The forward, who has been capped six times by Italy, played for Atalanta, Bologna on loan and Sampdoria before joining Napoli in January 2015.
The striker scored 16 times for last season's Serie A runners-up in 56 games. Thirty-seven of those games have been from the bench, highlighting his ability to change the outcome of matches.
Gabbiadini should provide useful extra cover up front as Charlie Austin is out for another three months with a shoulder injury.
A left-footed forward, Gabbiadini is known for his versatility to play across the entire attacking line and possesses strong set-piece taking abilities.
An Italian international centre back who has been a regular starter for Inter Milan over the years, it perhaps could be considered a surprise that he would trade Milan for a relegation battle at Hull.
But Tigers boss Marco Silva clearly did enough to persuade the former Genoa and Bari defender to make the loan switch to the Premier League and he comes with impressive credentials.
The defender joined Inter for £10.7m during the January transfer window of 2011 from Genoa, and has since made 166 appearances in all competitions for the Nerazzurri.
Ranocchia was included in the Serie A 2010/11 team of the year and spent the second half of last season on loan at Sampdoria. He is known for his strong aerial ability and physically imposing nature, but can be susceptible to injuries.
Beginning in the Serbian regional leagues as a youngster, Milivojevic has experienced a steady rise to now becoming a Premier League player.
The former Red Star Belgrade and Anderlecht holding midfielder scored six goals in 17 league appearances this season to help the Greek champions open up a 13-point lead at the top of the Superleague.
Milivojevic joins Patrick van Aanholt, Mamadou Sakho, Jeffrey Schlupp as new additions at Palace this month and manager Sam Allardyce is excited to work with him.
Allardyce has already described Milivojevic as "a talented two-footed player with intelligent passing ability as well as being very strong defensively, in and out of possession".
Another Hull Deadline Day signing, N'Diaye has eight international caps for Senegal and played 16 times for Sunderland in the Premier League during the 2012/13 season.
The 26-year-old began his career with French side AS Nancy before moving to Turkey to play for Bursaspor, making 51 appearances over two years.
During his time with Sunderland in the 2013/14 season, N'Diaye was allowed to join Spanish side Real Betis and that move became permanent in 2014.
After making 78 appearances for Betis, including helping them return to La Liga, the tenacious holding midfielder moved to Villarreal in a £6.8m deal last summer but has fallen out of favour at the club, starting just once.
N'Diaye is sure to provide competition for a place in Hull's central midfield, especially with Ryan Mason nursing a long-term injury due to a fractured skull.
Leicester reached an agreement to loan centre back Wague from Udinese until the end of the season, even though the Italian club had him on a long-term loan from Spanish side Granada.
Wague has been part of Mali's squad at the Africa Cup of Nations, where they were knocked out at the group stage.
The 25-year-old joined Udinese from French Ligue 1 club Caen in 2014 and made 37 appearances for the Italian club.
However, Wague played only five times in Serie A this season, one less than he has played for Mali in the same period.
The 28-year-old winger Grosicki has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal at the KCOM Stadium and will help to fill the void left by the Robert Snodgrass' departure to West Ham.
Grosicki came close to joining Burnley last summer but the deal collapsed when Rennes asked for more money at the last minute, after initially agreeing to sell the player for a fee in the region of £7m.
The Poland international's career began at Pogon Szczecin aged 18 before making a move to Legia Warsaw.
He then joined Swiss Super League side Sion on loan, before transferring back to Poland to sign a three-deal with Jagiellonia Bialystok, where he made 58 league appearances over three years.
Despite winning the Cup and Super Cup with Jagiellonia Bialystok, the winger joined Turkish Super Lig side Sivasspor in 2011.
Before the 2014 World Cup, the Poland international secured a transfer to Rennes in Ligue 1 and played 81 league matches.
Grosicki was one of the stars of Poland's impressive Euro 2016 campaign, his pace and direct running helping them to the quarter-finals. He has won 48 caps for his country, scoring nine goals.
Goalkeeper Hassen joins Southampton from manager Claude Puel's former club Nice on loan until the end of the season, and is expected to act as cover for Fraser Forster due to an injury to current deputy Alex McCarthy.
But Hassen could provide serious competition to Forster even when he does return from his abdominal injury.
Aged just 21, Hassen has already made 50 first-team appearances for Nice and has represented France at every youth level from Under-16s to Under-21s.
With Puel departing for Southampton last summer, Hassen was dropped at the start of the 2016/17 season with manager Lucien Favre taking charge.
Clearly the Southampton manager sees something in the young goalkeeper. Upon his arrival, Hassen has described the change to work with Puel again as a "real pleasure".
